Grain Purchases Contracts - Validate the final price 2007/11/28

Feature:
We have made changes to the purchase contracts in grain. We now offer the ability to validate the math for the final price to = futures + basis price when creating purchase contracts.

Setup:
In order to turn on this feature you will need to do the following from the AgVantage System Menu:

#5 = Grain Accounting
#11 = File Setup
#23 = Grain File Setup 2nd Menu
#11 = Activate Feature - Grain
enter to 2nd screen - Purchase Contract/Control Maintenance:

See - Error if Final Price not equal to Futures less Basis? Y/N............. type in Y.

Operation:

This will cause an error message to come up when creating a purchase contract in U5MNP2-1 if the futures price + basis doesn't equal as shown below:
