Mapping a Drive from your PC to a folder on the iSeries.

*** Important Note: You can not Map a Drive from outside your Local Network. Local Network is being on the same Internal Network as the iSeries System.***

AgVantage is in the process of changing all the programs to send PC accessible data to one folder. The folder name is
\AgVantage\ProdData\COxDATA (x = your company letter). This will eliminate the need to map multiple folders.

• Open iSeries Navigator or Operations Navigator from the PC Desktop.

• Click on My Connections, click on your iSeries

• Click on File Systems then File Shares

• Right click on /AgVantage/ProdData/COxDATA folder

• Select Map Network Drive

Select any open drive letter
Check box for 'Reconnect at log-on' auto opens the network drive when logging on your PC.
You will need to signon just like when you signon the iSeries.
For Authority or Permission information, have your Administrator of the iSeries contact AgVantage Support.

• Select mapped network drive from My Computer on your PC's Desktop to access files

• Select folder containing your data
